SABBATICAL COACH FOR HIGH-ACHIEVING WOMEN

You’re allowed to stop before you break.

I’m Kelsey, a sabbatical coach who helps women design intentional self-funded career breaks on their terms, before life makes the decision for them.

Some of my clients get here through burnout. Some get here because the job that used to feel like everything doesn't anymore, and they can't say why. Some get here because a layoff made the decision for them, and now they're staring down what's next.

Different paths. Same fork in the road: rush back into something similar, or finally take the time to figure out what you actually want.

You've done everything right. The degree. The promotions. Climbing the ladder that used to feel like fun, and now feels like an obligation.

You've fantasized about taking time off work more than once. But every time you seriously consider it, something stops you. You're not sure it’s really that bad. You're not sure you're "allowed" to want this. You're the responsible one, and responsible people don't just quit.

You don't need another pep talk about self-care. You need to actually believe it's okay to take a break.

With a sabbatical coach by your side who's done it twice and knows exactly where you'll get stuck.

You’re in the right place if…

  • You’re feeling burnt out from work, the kind of exhaustion that can’t be fixed by a vacation.

  • Your career doesn't mean what it used to, and you're questioning if all this effort is even worth it.

  • You usually make the logical decision. Time away from work doesn't count as logical. But you're still wondering if you need it anyway.

  • You’ve been laid off, and you know that a new job won’t actually fix your problem.

The Fearless Framework

I built the Fearless Framework to help each client get to one place: a career break they feel excited and ready to take.

You move through three phases to get there:

Meet Kelsey

I'm an ex-marketing director who took two intentional career breaks in my 30s, one to travel the world and one to become a sabbatical coach.

I know what it's like to sit exactly where you are: successful on paper, feeling less excited about your own life every day, and afraid to want something different than the 15-year career you've worked hard to build.

Here's what I wish I knew then:

  • The feeling that something is off doesn't just go away because you ignore it.

  • It will feel scary to make the jump, no matter how long you wait.

  • I wouldn't take back a moment of my time off for anything.

That's why I help women design transformational sabbaticals. You don't have to figure this out alone. I've done it twice, and I'll be right next to you while you do it too.

  • "I am more of a whole person now than I have been in the last 20 years. And the best part is that there's a whole lifetime ahead of me to feel this benefit. This isn't just healing from a toxic workplace, it's a reset on life."

    — Meg

  • "The program helped me slow down, get more connected to what I actually want, and think about my next chapter from a place of curiosity rather than pressure. Kelsey was able to challenge me while still making me feel supported, and I came away with more clarity about myself, rather than simply being handed a plan."

    — Clair

  • “The biggest benefit has been giving myself permission to rest and not go find a job immediately. The worst of both worlds is stressing myself out and, in the meantime, not taking the break that I needed.”

    — Jennifer

  • “Kelsey helped me talk through the worst case scenarios and that made me realize that I'm not stepping off a cliff, I'm just stepping off of a curb.”

    — Carrie

You don't have to have it all figured out.

A conversation is the first step.
